Temp Housing @ the Hostels

Hi all,

For those who have been emailing me to ask about housing becos of the recent pull-out as mentioned by Ricky, pls go to Hostel World for a list of respected hostels in Shanghai.

I know there are other hostel booking websites, including the Hosteling International page. However this page I have used thruout my backpacking days across Europe and many other countries, plus I have the Gold Card membership which allows me to book for free (you only need to pay the 10% deposit online). As for those that just give a reservation and no payment, I've got bad experiences since they can "cancel" your booking, because you didn't pay for it...

So for those in need, pls let me know okay? My contact details are given in the excel sheet I sent out earlier.

nice to noe so many people going to Shanghai for internship... let's have a welcoming dinner when reached there can? i think some leaving very soon rite?

btw, i heard from my frens that karaoke there is cheap and good... as in those got standard de.. not those ermm dirty one hehe... so if any of u like to sing.. :) we can go there tog !!!

I believe all of us are excited to go for the trip and it is good for us to maintain contact of one another. This blog is set up so that all of us can share our stories, photos or experience here, especially if there are any good food and places to visit in Shanghai.
